I appreciate all the support over the last 2 years while setting up my new practice. I have had successful results with over 90-95% of my patients with disc injuries/ neck/ back pain in utilizing the DTS table as a stand alone treatment. I will be honest- it was a tough decision initially because of the financial investment/ commitment while I was starting practice. I am glad that I decided to integrate the DTS into my practice from the start because of the referrals and the wonderful response from my patients. Thanks again for all your help over the last 2 years and continued support.

Pillows
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What exactly are chiropractic pillows used for?
Most commonly, orthopedic pillows are used to relieve neck pain. They are also used to improve sleep, alleviate headaches, and correct posture. Using neck rolls and memory foam pillows for proper alignment each night can promote a good night’s sleep. Studies show that sleep improvement also reduces the risk for obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure.
When traveling by plane, as a passenger on a long car ride, or on any long journey, neck hugging pillows are a must-have. And for long work hour in a sitting position, add a lumbar support pillow to your office chair for back support. Used for a few minutes each day, specialty pillows like cervical orthoses, knee wedges and leg spacers can correct curvatures and encourage gentle traction.
Do orthopedic pillows really work to minimize pain?
Yes, orthopedic pillows are efficient at easing pain associated with bad posture. They do this by supporting your head, neck, and lumbar region, reducing the pressure on them. Chiropractic pillows that promote proper spinal alignment are recommended by many doctors for pain relief.
What types of chiropractic pillows are available?
Memory Foam Pillows — Besides aligning your neck and spine and helping you relax, memory foam pillows are also naturally hypoallergenic.
Fiber Support Pillows — Fiber pillows retain less heat than memory foam and don't contour to your body as precisely, offering more support.
Water Pillows — Since water weighs more than most pillow fillings, it is most likely that your pillow will stay put throughout the night. They can be used for back, side, and stomach sleeping.
Air Pocket Pillows — Inflatable rolls and cervical pillows are ideal for travel and you can easily adjust their support with a simple squeeze of the pump.
Hot & Cold Pillows — Soft-frozen gel packs in cold pillows provide headache relief like a cold compress. They also help with pain from pinched nerves, sprains, stiffness, or other trauma. On the other hand, hot microwavable pillows soothe the tension in your neck and shoulders.
Office Support Pillows — This type of orthopedic pillow attaches to the back of the chair and offers lumbar support while you're stuck behind a desk all day.
Travel Support Pillows — Ideal for travel by car, train, or plane, they also provide great neck support while reading or sleeping.
Neck Rolls — Insert them in your pillowcase and enjoy a night of better sleep.
Body Positioning Wedges — They help relieve neck pain and headaches associated with various neck injuries. One of the most common uses is to correct your posture after looking down at handheld devices for too long.
What are the benefits of cervical pillows?
Whether you have a sore neck or arm pain that radiates from it, a cervical support pillow always comes in handy. It helps keep your neck in a comfortable position, easing the pain and eventually making it go away completely. At first, you might feel some discomfort, but you will soon adopt this pillow as an extension of your body. Besides improving your posture, cervical support pillows also help improve your sleep. Choose from memory foam neck pillows, cervical rolls, or fiber support pillows. For travel purposes, consider compact air pocket pillows. All cervical pillow designs relieve and support tense muscles and increase blood flow to your head.
How do I use a cervical roll?
Choose a cervical support pillow that has the same length as your regular pillow. Place the cervical roll inside your pillowcase and move it to one end. Position the pillow with the cervical roll towards the bottom. This way, when you lay your head on the pillow, the roll will press against your neck for added support where you need it most. Whether you sleep on your back or on your side, the neck pillow must fill the area between your head and shoulder at all times. If you have neck pain, avoid sleeping on your stomach.
