What exactly is a water pillow?
A Water Pillow is a unique chiropractic pillow that has an adjustable firmness level. It features an internal chamber that can contain various amounts of water based on preference.
How does a water pillow work?
The user fills their Water Pillow with a predetermined amount of water. The more water added to the pillow, the more firm and supportive it becomes.
Can you wash a water pillow?
Absolutely, yes. It’s important to remember to completely drain the Water Pillow before washing it. Always replace the drainage/filling cap before beginning the washing process. Water Pillows can be washed by hand or by machine, but they should never be washed in extremely hot water. Soapy water below 105 degrees Fahrenheit is perfectly acceptable. In addition, high-heat drying can damage Water Pillow components, so air-drying or no-heat drying is a must.
How often do you change the water in a water pillow?
The water in a water-based pillow should be completely emptied and changed at least once a year. However, many users choose to change their pillow’s water supply every time they wash their pillowcases and covers.
What is a water pillow made of?
Water Pillows are made of polyester fiber or memory foam, depending on the model. All Water Pillows are hypoallergenic.
