I appreciate all the support over the last 2 years while setting up my new practice. I have had successful results with over 90-95% of my patients with disc injuries/ neck/ back pain in utilizing the DTS table as a stand alone treatment. I will be honest- it was a tough decision initially because of the financial investment/ commitment while I was starting practice. I am glad that I decided to integrate the DTS into my practice from the start because of the referrals and the wonderful response from my patients. Thanks again for all your help over the last 2 years and continued support.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What exactly is a utility cart?
A rolling utility cart or rolling storage cart is an open or closed unit with shelves and wheels useful for efficiently storing and moving various items around as needed. Narrow enough to fit in elevators and through all doorways, utility carts are indispensable in hotels, restaurants, spas, salons, and medical facilities. Their shelves are often designed with a raised lip on all sides to keep items in place and prevent items from falling off. This also helps contain accidental spills.
What are utility carts made from?
Most medical carts are made of stainless steel, but plastic and aluminum aren't all that uncommon either. When choosing a rolling utility cart model for clinics and hospitals, make sure it is made from high-quality materials that are easy to clean and that the casters facilitate smooth maneuvering. Easy-grip handles are a plus and stainless steel is often a clear winner as it is strong, resistant, lightweight, and smooth.
How much weight can a utility cart hold?
A small rolling utility cart can hold at least 100 lbs and a stainless steel medical cart with three shelves usually has a capacity of 300 lbs. Since these ranges are quite large, make sure you check the manufacturer specifications before purchasing a rolling storage cart, especially if you need to transport heavier equipment.
What is an electrotherapy cart?
Electrotherapy carts are utility carts that can store and transport TENS units, EMS machines, and ultrasound units as well as the necessary accessories for each device. Some models also include a power strip, but you can easily transform a regular rolling storage cart into an electrotherapy or ultrasound cart by securing a four-outlet power strip to one of its sides. Some electrotherapy units have their own therapy cart design and a cart adapter, which are sold separately from the ultrasound unit.
Can I use any cart for my ultrasound machine?
Ultrasound machines are usually large, stationary pieces of equipment but the demand for portable ultrasound units is increasing. While therapists on the go can transport small ultrasound machines in shoulder bags, moving them around a medical facility is much easier and more accessible on a medical cart. Any rolling utility cart can be an ultrasound cart given that it can hold its weight, but if you want to make the most out of it, tape an extension cord to the cart or look for a therapy cart from the same manufacturer as the ultrasound machine.
How can I organize a rolling cart most efficiently?
If the rolling utility cart has drawers, make sure you label them accordingly, as carts are often passed between multiple medical professionals. Also, use adjustable drawer separators to prevent small items from getting mixed and lost. Even if the medical cart doesn't come with drawers, you can still keep it well organized. Just place all the small supplies in separate containers of different colors that fit on the cart's shelves. Make sure you know what the spacing between shelves is before ordering containers.
If your medical equipment comes with its own therapy cart, you will find the storage bins very convenient for all your clinical essentials. You can assign one bin for cords and adapters, one for pads and electrodes, one for probes and sound heads, one for conductivity gels and sprays, and so on. You will always have everything handy, organized, and ready for treatments.

Scriphessco.com offers a wide range of rolling utility carts that you can easily put to good use in your practice. With two or three shelves, with or without drawers, meant for storage and transport of general supplies or specialized electrotherapy carts, there is something for every need.
