A rolling utility cart or rolling storage cart is an open or closed unit with shelves and wheels useful for efficiently storing and moving various items around as needed. Narrow enough to fit in elevators and through all doorways, utility carts are indispensable in hotels, restaurants, spas, salons, and medical facilities. Their shelves are often designed with a raised lip on all sides to keep items in place and prevent items from falling off. This also helps contain accidental spills.
What are utility carts made from?
Most medical carts are made of stainless steel, but plastic and aluminum aren't all that uncommon either.
