I appreciate all the support over the last 2 years while setting up my new practice. I have had successful results with over 90-95% of my patients with disc injuries/ neck/ back pain in utilizing the DTS table as a stand alone treatment. I will be honest- it was a tough decision initially because of the financial investment/ commitment while I was starting practice. I am glad that I decided to integrate the DTS into my practice from the start because of the referrals and the wonderful response from my patients. Thanks again for all your help over the last 2 years and continued support.

Fiber Support Pillows
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I wash a fiber-filled pillow?
You can wash your fiber support pillow in the machine but there are a few things to keep in mind. Be sure to always include two pillows rather than just one to balance out the load and ensure your machine gives them a proper clean. Use soap sparingly. A teaspoon of liquid detergent is sufficient. It will refresh the pillows without damaging the materials. And finally, be sure to use a gentle setting on your machine rather than a regular wash. This will ensure the fiber-filled pillow is gently cleaned and the fabric doesn't fray. Before washing your fiber support pillow, please read the manufacturer's enclosed instructions.
What is actually in a fiber-filled pillow?
Fiber-filled pillows are typically filled with a heavier and thicker down-like filling known as micro-denier synthetic polyester. This can mimic the comfort of goose-down feathers but offers much more support. The fiber filling allows the pillow to retain its shape so your head and neck will be supported when you lie down instead of sinking into it.
Why do I wake up with a stiff neck every morning?
If you are constantly waking up with a stiff neck, chances are the pillow you are using is not supportive enough for you. When a pillow is too flat, the head weighs it down and your shoulders become pressed against the mattress. Pillows like the NRG® Cervical Support Pillow offer firm yet comfortable support that slips in between the mattress and your shoulders and keeps your neck straight when you sleep. This will alleviate the stress on your neck and minimize your neck pain.
What type of pillow is best for neck support?
There are plenty of Orthopedic pillows out there. You have to choose the pillow that offers the best support for your body based on the way you sleep. For example, a back sleeper and a side sleeper may require different types of cervical support pillows to properly support their neck. How you sleep really impacts what type of support you need.
What firmness of pillow is best for neck pain?
A neck support pillow should be a medium-firm density. It allows enough support for the neck but it is still comfortable for you to sleep on. A very firm pillow may cause even more problems. The right pillow will cradle your head and relieve pressure from your neck, preventing those muscles from straining.
What pillows do chiropractors recommend?
There are a few chiropractor-approved neck pillows you can choose from. Tri-Core® Cervical Support Pillow has two different end designs. One end is made for higher neck support and the other is made for lower neck support. Experiment with either side of the pillow to find the best solution for you. If you tend to move around while you sleep, you may find the thicker side works best for some positions and the the thinner side for others. The NRG® Cervical Support Pillow can relieve tension headaches and prevent neck muscles from straining and the Basic Cervical™ Support Pillow offers basic support for general neck and back pain. Any of these options are chiropractor-approved.
What is the best sleeping position for neck pain?
Both side and back sleeping positions are suitable for relieving neck pain. However, the trick isn't in your sleep position. The answer to your neck pain is in finding the pillow that best supports your neck based on the sleeping position you favor. If you sleep on your side, you will need a side sleeper support pillow to properly balance out your body and keep your spine and neck straighter.
What kind of pillow is best for side sleepers with neck pain?
The Tri-Core® Cervical Support Pillow and the NRG® Cervical Support Pillow are highly recommended for side sleepers. They cradle the head and keep the shoulders from pressing into the neck area. The right orthopedic pillow offers medium-firm support to keep your spine straight and comfortable all night long.
