With a one-of-a-kind design, the BTrackS™ Balance Plate provides the first affordable and practical force plate balance testing solution.

The balance plate easily interfaces with your computing device via the USB port, which provides a more stable connection when compared to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The device is also powers directly from the connected computer eliminating the need for an AC power outlet or batteries. The plate measure less than 15 lbs and comes standard with an easy to grasp carrying handle for true portability. A recent study in the Journal of Biomechanics found that BTrackS™ has near perfect agreement with an expensive, laboratory-grade force plate.

BTrackS™ software applications are user-friendly and easy to install on your existing PC, laptop or tablet computer. Each application provides valuable testing visuals, data analytics and profile management features that are customized for your specific testing needs. Software upgrades occur annually, with performance enhancements and new features driven by customer feedback.

BTrackS™ Assess Balance software provides an affordable suite of testing protocols to objectively and accurately determine balance and posture abilities. This includes the BTrackS™ Balance Test, and evaluation of postural sway that can be done in just minutes to evaluate balance, determine age-based percentile rankings and provide a fall risk assessment of low, moderate or high-risk category. These rankings are based on over 17,000 test results. The software also includes four direction weight distribution percentages, postural analysis with normative data and biofeedback balance training.

The CTSIB is a testing protocol used by experienced balance practitioners to try and assess how the three main sensory feedback systems for balance (i.e. proprioception, vision, vestibular) are functioning relative to one another. This is done by comparing balance conditions where vision and proprioception are manipulated by having the person close their eyes or stand on compliant foam respectively. Includes foam pad necessary for performing sensory screening.
