What metal is used in Seirin needles?

Seirin crafts their acupuncture needles from the highest quality surgical stainless steel. The stainless steel is ideal for acupuncture because it does not include elements that can often cause allergic reactions, such as nickel, and is well-tolerated by nearly everyone. The stainless steel does not rust or corrode.

What makes Seirin acupuncture needles different?

Seirin J-type acupuncture needles feature comfort grip handles with easy-release technology. Seirin needles also feature light-touch insertion for ease of use and more painless experience for the patient. Seirin needles are also color-coded for simple identification of size. Overall, Seirin leads the way in easy-to-use, pain-free acupuncture needles.

What are the color-coded handles for on Seirin acupuncture needles?

Seirin needles feature color-coded handles for simple identification of size. The J-type series are as follows: dark green is .12 mm, light green is .14 mm, red is .16 mm, ivory is .18 mm, blue is .20 mm, purple is .25 mm, and brown is .30 mm. The D-type needles are red/pink for .16mm, blue for .20 mm, and purple for .25 mm. The handles have a comfort grip and textured surface to help with a secure grasp along with the simple identification colors.
