UV Sterilizer Q&A:

Q. When I turn on the machine, how can I tell if it is ON? Can I feel the machine by hand?
A. No. There is no vibration to the machine. But if you look at the Power & UV switches, they will be lit up.

Q. When I turn on the sterilizer is the UV Light supposed to turn on?
A. Yes, UV Light is supposed to be on. You cannot tell from the outside if the UV Bulb inside is ON or OFF. When you open the door, UV Light will turn off.

Q. What is the button on the left side of the cabinet, which you can see when the door is opened?
A. That is a "safety" button. It prevents people from turning ON the Power Switch (while the door is open) and getting their eyes exposed to the UV Light, which would cause damage to the eyes. Similar safety buttons are present in many newer model sterilizers.

Additional Details:

• There are two separate switches for Hot Cabinet & Sterilizer. Power & UV.
  Make sure to turn both of them ON.
• Sterilizer function will turn OFF after 10 to 15 minutes. It will remain OFF until the door is opened and the items inside are removed.
• This is also a safety measure, which eliminates leaving items inside and sterilizing them over and over again. Which means after usage, the power is OFF for the sterilizer, unless the door is opened to reset.
