Varus/Valgus Wedges 6° & 9°

Used for pronation or suppination problems of the foot and ankle. Wedges are designed to help align the calcaneus (heel) during ambulation to limit excessive pronation or suppination. They improve foot function by stabilizing weak, rotating ankles. These can be used for medial or lateral correction by simply flipping the insole over. In the large wedges, the wedged area runs from the back of the heel anterior 55 mm. In the small wedge, the wedged area runs from the heel anterior 45 mm. The lift is measured at the radius of the curve where the cacneus (heel bone) strikes the lift.
