For treatment and rehabilitation, the Game Ready System takes the proven RICE regimen (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) one step further. Game Ready simultaneously delivers adjustable cold therapy in conjunction with active pneumatic compression to make the rehabiltation process easier for everyone.
Cold therapy has been shown to reduce pain, swelling, and muscle spasms, but active compression helps the body heal.

The Game Ready Control Unit can be easily cleaned with a mild disinfectant such as warm water with mild detergent, Lysol, 70% isopropyl alcohol, or hydrogen peroxide. To prevent mold or mildew growth, simply remove water and ice before storing.The removable outer Wrap fabric sleeves can be washed by hand or machine and replaced if necessary. The exterior of the inner liner (heat exchanger) that contains the air and water chamber can be cleaned with a soft cloth and one of the above disinfectants. To clean the air and water chamber interiors, connect the assembled wrap to the Control Unit via the Connector Hose, fill the Control Unit one-third full of standard hydrogen peroxide (or one lid measure of standard household bleach and water), and run the system for five minutes. When not in use, coil the Connector Hoses and fold or roll the Wrap(s). Do not store in enclosed plastic containers to prevent mold or mildew growth.
