Product Specifications and Use

The Apex Cervical Orthosis is a lightweight device that is designed to help people recover from neck pains and poor posture. It has an 8-by-4-inch base and a three-point height adjustable between 1 and 4 1/2 inches. This device comes in two options: a core device and a gentle alternative that is more comfortable. It has a gentle contour where you lay your neck and shoulders. This design is meant to restore proper cervical posture.

Most common pains are caused by 'tech neck' which results from operating electronic devices for long periods. Mild neck injuries can also result from sleeping with a stiff instead of a cervical contour pillow. The tool also helps treat whiplash, lordosis and other acute cervical injuries. In addition, it decreases the pressure in the cervical soft tissue to help reduce inflammation from injuries.

We always advise patients to use this tool under the strict supervision of an orthopedic specialist. The physician should advise you on the required height of the tool, depending on the diagnosis. The initial therapy lasts two minutes, with the time intervals increasing with every session. However, the time should never exceed 20 minutes. The average optimal session lasts between 15 and 20 minutes. This is repeated daily until correct posture is restored.

Since posture adjustment can cause mild soreness, our tool comes with a soft comfort cold pack. The pack has a non-toxic, biodegradable fill you can freeze for cold therapy. Cold treatment helps reduce the soreness within 15 minutes. The Apex Cervical Orthosis is made from gentle foam, a plush fabric that is soft on the skin. It is also very easy to maintain; all you need to do is wipe it using a soft wet rag. This makes the tool reusable and durable.
