The promptness of your services have been fantastic. The array of products is phenomenal and the great pricing you just can't beat. I want to say a great big "thank you" to Brenda as well she has been the best rep that anyone could ever ask to have call on an office. Dr. Roby Taylor Myers, Owner & Lead Chiropractor at East Coast Elite Chiropractic-Sports Performance & Rehab

I appreciate all the support over the last 2 years while setting up my new practice. I have had successful results with over 90-95% of my patients with disc injuries/ neck/ back pain in utilizing the DTS table as a stand alone treatment. I will be honest- it was a tough decision initially because of the financial investment/ commitment while I was starting practice. I am glad that I decided to integrate the DTS into my practice from the start because of the referrals and the wonderful response from my patients. Thanks again for all your help over the last 2 years and continued support.

What Is a Cable Pulley?

A cable pulley is workout equipment used together with a set of ropes or cables to deliver a wide range of workout options that involve pulling weights. Depending on the usage needs, a cable pulley can be set up either as a single or double pulley.

The cable pulley is made up of a wheel attached to an axle, through which wool, nylon, or steel cable passes over. The pulley system is built of strong metal components to sustain heavy loads, but it's smooth enough to deliver a seamless pulley action whenever it's in use.

Cable pulleys come in a variety of forms and sizes, suited to work in different conditions and sustain an assortment of rope diameters. The cable pulley can be installed to offer a range of motion exercises, and it's also portable and easy enough to set up that it can be used anywhere.

What Is a Pulley Exerciser?

A pulley exerciser is a weight training setup used in homes or fitness centers. The pulley systems come in a range of sizes: large setups for fitness centers and gyms and smaller ones for in-home installations.

Depending on the weight specifications, you can set up the pulley with one or more cables attached to a set of weights.

Usually, the whole system is in the form of a wide frame of metal bars, ranging from the size of a doorway to wider and higher frames. On either side of the frame, the tall vertical bars are either bolted to fixed floor support or supported by weights to allow for more portable functionality. At the top, spanning across the vertical bars' length, is a detachable metal rod used to hold the pulleys.

An essential element in pulley exercisers is a set of handles with a comfortable grip, which are critical for preventing blistering or roughening of the palms.

For home installations, the pulley exerciser can come in the form of a single pulley, a pulley attached to a metal plate, or a door-width-sized metal bar that you mount inside a doorway. The absence of the bulky frame for the home installations means that the pulley system can be mounted on walls, wood panels, or doorways.

What Are Range of Motion Exercises?

Range of motion exercises consist of a set of workout routines, usually of low to medium intensity. The routines are designed to restore or improve flexibility on muscles and joints.

The exercises can be used as a form of physiotherapy after surgery or to improve living conditions for conditions such as arthritis. In extreme cases like post-surgery therapy, the exercises need to be recommended or supervised by a physician.

Home-based motion exercises are an inexpensive and convenient substitute for traveling to rehabilitation centers. We, however, recommend that you get detailed specifications from your physician before embarking on unsupervised exercises.

In supervised exercises, a physical therapist will be physically present to advise you on the number of reps to do at a time and the time intervals of the sessions. Even if a physician is not present, we recommend having a family member or friend monitor you as you do the exercises. An observer can monitor the strain or lack thereof and be present to help you prevent accidents.

Which Body Areas Do Pulley Exercisers Work On?

Neck muscles are some of the most-ignored sets of muscles when working out. Having a pulley exerciser setup can be an excellent neck exerciser. We recommend not waiting till you get a physician's recommendation before working out your neck.

A pulley exerciser can be used as an excellent form of working out upper body joints with or without weights attached.

Wrist strain is a common occurrence, especially in this digital age, but a pulley exerciser can come in handy by promoting great flexibility and overall wrist health.
