Flex-Gel™ Cold Packs

PSI Flex-Gel™ Cold Packs provide flexible cold therapy for a wide variety of applications. Larger packs have sealed sections that ensure even distribution of gel for a greater cooling area. When frozen, this water based formula forms ice crystals, which has proven to be the most effective cold therapy. If punctured, it does not stain as there are no dyes or artificial colors added. And, although not intended for ingestion, no harm will be done if accidentally ingested by either people or animals. This product is non-toxic and non-caustic. The gel section is encased in a space-age, lightweight, and durable ethylene methacrylate (EMA) that retains its softness and flexibility far below that of the gel. This allows the pack to conform to the anatomy of the treated area for maximum client comfort. While the packs are self-insulating, which helps minimizes the risk of frostbite or tissue damage, we recommend the use a barrier between the skin and the very cold temperatures of the pack. This product is non-toxic and non-caustic.

Each pack is reusable, providing the most economical cold therapy over and over again. Buy several and keep them in the freezer so you always have one of these fabulous flexible cold packs ready to use! Reuseable Compression Wrap is the perfect companion because of its nylon mesh and its velcro closure that allows it to be securely wrapped around the treated area.

Cautions:
• Although Flex-Gel™ is self-insulating, using a cloth "barrier" between the skin and the gel pack is advised.
• Lay flat in freezer between uses.
• Store between +12° and -6°F.
• Freeze for a minimum of 4 hours prior to use.
• Clean with soapy water or 70% Glutaraldehyde of Isopropyl Alcohol.
• Do not steam sterilize.
• Not intended for ingestion, but not considered to be harmful if accidentally ingested by either people or animals.
